Art Exhibition & Competition
Local young artists are being given a fantastic opportunity to have their work exhibited as well as compete for cash prizes in the Bellingen & Seaboard Youth Services Youth Week Art Exhibition.
It has become a much anticipated feature of local Youth Week (28 March to 5 April 2009), in that the community gets an opportunity to see exciting new works from young artists aged 12 to 24.
For the artists, the opportunity is the exposure for their work and the chance to win $50 in each category, as well as the overall grand prize money.
The closing dates for entries is Monday 23 March 2009.
There are multiple categories that young people can enter work in. The categories include Painting, Drawing, 3D / Sculpture, Fashion Design / Textiles / Jewellery, Photography and Creative Writing For Creative Writing, young people can enter poetry, song lyrics and short stories (2,000 words max).

Artworks are to be delivered with entry forms to either the Bellingen & Seaboard Youth Service or the Bellingen Neighbourhood Centre, both located at the Council Grounds, Hyde Street, Bellingen.
