Young Parent Network

Our Young Parent Groups are open to new members. If you are a young parent or parent-to-be aged up to 25, come along for support, information and to make some new friends.

Young Parent Groups

Our groups are friendly and relaxed where you can come and find support from other young parents.

Being young and a parent or pregnant can be both scary and exciting. It’s a time of mixed emotions and expectations. Raising a child is a pretty full-on responsibility and a lot of work. Every parent needs support.

Our Young Parent Network offers young mums and dads an opportunity to get together with others of similar age who are pregnant or parenting young. The focus of the groups is on your needs as a young parent. We have activities and guest speakers on a range of topics that group members are interested in learning more about.

What the Parents Say

Young parents coming to the groups have said:

“My name is Emma, I am 22 years old. I have two gorgeous girls, Annabelle who is four and baby Bronte who is one.I look forward to the group each week. I find most of the guest speakers really interesting but most of all I like it because the other parents are really nice.

“Before starting this group I felt really isolated. My self confidence has improved and I feel much more supported in my role as a young mum.”

“This has been a life changing experience for me to have a network of like minded people to lean on & support has been an invaluable experience.”
